Skin Barrier Calming Lotion is an award-winning, soothing and moisturizing emulsion from Ongredients, especially for very dry skin that often suffers from sensitivity and irritation. This creamy formula with a light, fluid texture feels silky smooth on the skin and leaves a radiant, ice cream skin effect.

The emulsion contains antioxidative plant extracts, such as soothing centella asiatica extract, which relieves redness, heat sensation and reduces the risk of superficial inflammation in stressed and damaged skin.

Nine different peptides strengthen the skin's barrier, improve its resilience and promote the skin's natural renewal process and softness, while creating a long-lasting moisture barrier that prevents moisture loss.

• Moisturizer is an important final step in skin hydration. Apply after other skincare products, in the mornings before sunscreen. Always test new products on a small area of skin to ensure their suitability for your skin, especially if your skin is sensitive. Apply a small amount, for example on the neck, and wait 24-48 hours to detect any possible skin reactions.

If skin irritation such as redness, swelling, or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, discontinue use and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use on broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
