In Korea, protecting yourself from the sun and keeping your skin smooth and light have been important criteria for beauty for many centuries. Even in the 21st century, a lot of research is really being done in Korea to make a sunscreen that is pleasant and as light as possible and very protective.

Some Korean sunscreens use chemical or organic sunscreen. Some use sunscreen.

Physical sunscreen is recognizable by ingredients like Titanium Dioxide or Zink Oxide, and these are often slightly lighter in composition than chemical sunscreens. The function of physical sunscreens is not much different from chemical ones; both absorb harmful UV radiation, but the physical one also (about 5%) scatter the UV radiation away.

The most common of the chemical filters are, for example, avobenzone, oxybenzone, octinoxate. Sunscreens with chemical sunscreen are often really pleasant and light in composition and leave no white border.

Both chemical and physical protection are often used in Korean sunscreens for best results and protection.

Remember that whatever sunscreen you decide to use, the most important thing is to apply enough sunscreen (n teaspoons to your face) and add this throughout the day 💕
