VT Cosmetics Cica Skin is a soothing and gently exfoliating toner especially for impurity-prone skin that suffers from redness and dullness. This skin-friendly toner feels refreshing and lightweight on the skin without a sticky or oily feeling.

The toner uses the CICALAO™ compound (Centella Asiatica Extract, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid + Green Propolis Extract) containing soothing Centella Asiatica extract and antibacterial propolis extract to relieve skin irritation, redness and reduce the risk of inflammation.
The toner is enriched with moisturizing hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan and panthenol, which together soothe the skin and help create a long-lasting moisture film on the skin to prevent moisture loss.

Skin-friendly PHA (Lactobionic Acid) gently exfoliates dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, preventing clogged pores and promoting a brighter and softer complexion.

Pat the toner directly on the skin or, alternatively, saturate a cotton pad with the toner and gently wipe the face with the cotton pad in the morning and evening.

Tip! When your skin needs a stronger exfoliation, saturate one or more cotton pads with the toner and place on the problem areas of the skin for 10-15 minutes.

• Toner is applied first after cleansing. It provides moisture to the face and prepares the skin for other skincare products. Moisturizing toners should be patted onto the skin by hand, while exfoliating ones are applied with a cotton pad.

If skin irritation such as redness, swelling, or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, discontinue use and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use on broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
