Niacinamide

Niacinamide or niacinamide (also known as nicotinamide) is an ingredient commonly used in skin care, which is a form of vitamin B-3. It is generally a well-tolerated ingredient in cosmetics and is also suitable for use on the skin around the eyes.

Niacinamide can be used both in the morning and in the evening, as long as you remember to add sunscreen with at least SPF 30 in the morning.

So what does niacinamide do to the skin? Why is it useful?

Niacinamide has several benefits in skin care, among other things, it fades enlarged skin pores, improves the texture of "orange skin", improves the skin's ability to maintain moisture balance and evens out skin tone, and fades pigment changes. It also strengthens the skin's protective layer and helps heal previous skin damage. When used on the skin around the eyes, for others, niacinamide helps with dark circles and lines.
